1. Stay Positive

Never let discouragement distract you from achieving your goal(s) as a Software Engineer.

Always stay humble, and also learn from Senior Software Engineers. You can as well learn from Junior Software Engineer who has better understanding on what you want to learn. Don't look at the age or level differences. Learn from everyone, and also learn what you need to learn.

3. Never give up

Be consistent with your learning and never give up on the process, because everything in life has to deal with procedure. Senior Software Engineer are once Junior Software Engineer. Trust the process, with time you will become one. Don't get discouraged by your environment or what is not working well as expected. With time, you will achieve all your goals. 4. Don't pick at Random

Try to be good at one thing. Don't just learn everything that comes your way as a Junior Software Engineer. Pick your stack wisely, get known with your skills by building projects, and understand the syntax and concept of the technology you're using well before learning others. Learn what you like best, and explore. Practice what you've learned, and be consistent. Work on things that interest you now and increase your options, and worry later about which you'll take next.

5. Be Curious

Let curiosity be your driving force. Always be ready to learn deep and know more about yours skills. Don't give up on the process. Stay determined and be discipline. Always try to upgrade your knowledge daily with your skills. Don't be outdated, but rather be updated. Be good at what you do. It's very good to have the knowledge of how other technologies work, but be good at one. Practice always. Use your skills productively.
